Overview: Rise Again is a dedicated donation-based crowdfunding campaign aimed at restoring and continuing education for students from rural areas in Lao PDR affected by natural disasters. By mobilizing global support, we seek to rebuild the educational opportunities for these students by facilitating their transfer to and integration within city schools unaffected by such adversity. The Challenge: Frequent natural disasters like floods, landslides, and storms severely disrupt the lives and educational paths of rural students in Lao PDR. Many schools are damaged or destroyed, and the economic aftermath of these events often forces students to abandon their education in order to support their families.
Our Mission:
The mission of Rise Again is to ensure that disaster-impacted students have the opportunity to continue their education without disruption. By providing financial support and resources, we aim to relocate these students to stable educational environments in urban areas, thus safeguarding their future against the unforeseen interruptions caused by natural disasters.
